Banco Galicia, for their Home Banking Portal, requested consultancy in usability for the development and launching of their new website. Consulting was planned in three successive stages starting with the diagnosis, then a Heuristic Evaluation, and lastly a series of usability tests for different user profiles. As a result, the bank’s internal team was able to identify a group of areas of opportunity and, with that, develop an implementation plan for the improvements suggested by the consulting team.

Complete development of the corporate website of Ferromel, dedicated to the construction of train tracks through modern systems.  This important Argentine company belongs to the Emepa Group, for whom we have already developed corporate websites for some of their different companies.  This project included design, information architecture and programming.  The website also includes a dynamic content administrator.

The National Communications Commission (CNC) requested that we develop a usability diagnosis for their institutional website.  Our client’s main purpose was to identify areas of opportunity to begin a website redesign process.  A Heuristic Evaluation was done, consisting of an analysis of content, design, functionality and usability variables, and recommendations for improvement were made based on identified areas of opportunity.

We performed a usability test on the first social website about safety in the Province and City of Buenos Aires: the Safety Map.  The project was finalized before the official launch of their website in order to assess its ease of use.  To this end, they recruited potential users and asked them to perform a series of tasks, such as entering a crime event into the website or consulting those already uploaded.  Results with recommendations for improvement were at the client’s disposal within a week.

The portal with the largest Spanish-speaking community of users, Psicofxp.com, hired us to perform a heuristic evaluation with the goal of identifying areas of opportunity to improve the quality of its users’ browsing experience.  A diagnosis was made based on content, web design, technology, and usability variables.  As a result, the client received a complete report with recommendations and practical improvements to be made on each of these topics.  The second project done with this client consisted on the benchmark analysis of content management systems for their portal.  The analysis included the comparison of 11 different variables disaggregated into more than 180 items, including ease of use, support, security and performance.
